Jake Mace - Artistic Director (Scotland)
One of the original founders of Slipshod Theatre, Scotland-based Jake works as a playwright, director and performer in the company and oversees the running of Slipshod's EdFringe programme every year. He will soon study for an MA in European Politics at the University of Dundee. Jake's speciality is in post-Soviet theatre and historical comedy.
Mike Dorey - Artistic Director (England)
One of the original founders of the company, Winchester-based Mike works as an actor locally in Hampshire and works at Slipshod HQ to oversee the company's operations in England - also assisting with EdFringe operations. Mike enjoys musicals, drama and comedies and has worked on all Slipshod productions.
Maddy Ashman - Musical Director
London-based Maddy has worked as the Musical Director for the company since 2018. She has written original scores for our EdFringe shows 'Who Killed Franz Ferdinand?' and 'Space Junk: A Soviet Musical'. Outside of Slipshod she has performed on tour with indie singer-songwriter Tom Rosenthal and studies music at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Arthur Fleetham - Technical Director & Lighting/Sound Designer
Bournemouth/Winchester based Arthur has been the Technical Director at Slipshod Theatre since 2018. Designing and operating original lighting and sound effects for shows as well as creating set pieces and props. He currently studies at Arts University Bournemouth.
Jasper Cresdee-Hyde - Media Director
Winchester-based Jasper creates original multimedia content for the company to help with promoting, recording and designing our shows. Outside of Slipshod he works as an independent filmmaker and screenwriter and is preparing to study at the University of Cambridge. He will soon be moving into co-leading Slipshod's writing department in 2020.
Cardiff-based Aditi has performed with the company since 2017, taking the eponymous role in 'The Girl Who Loved Stalin' at our first EdFringe. Since then, she has returned to the company to perform as Valentina Tereshkova and Nurse Anna in 'Space Junk: A Soviet Musical'. Aditi is currently studying English Literature at the University of Cardiff.
Chichester-based Ali joined the company in 2018 to play the assassin Gavrilo Princip in our second EdFringe production 'Who Killed Franz Ferdinand?' and then returned to perform as Yuri Gagarin's daughter Elena in 'Space Junk: A Soviet Musical'. Ali is studying a BA in Acting at the University of Chichester.
Winchester/London-based Jack recently joined the company in 2019 in order to play Eric 'Winkle' Brown in 'Space Junk: A Soviet Musical' at EdFringe. He will soon begin studying at Trinity Laban and has worked with Encore Youth Theatre and Discarded Nut Youth Theatre in Winchester.
Plymouth-based Liv joined the company in 2017 and worked as a technical assistant on 'The Girl Who Loved Stalin'. Following this, she played Emily Thorston in 'Who Killed Franz Ferdinand?' at Edfringe in 2018 and Valentina Gagarina in 'Space Junk: A Soviet Musical'. She will soon begin studying a BA in History at the University of Plymouth.
Winchester/London based Oscar joined the company in 2019 to take the role of Alexey Leonov in 'Space Junk: A Soviet Musical'. Outside of Slipshod, he works as a filmmaker as part of Red Peak Productions and also freelance in the Film & TV industry. Previously, Oscar was a part of A Company of Fools at Peter Symonds College in Winchester.
London based Ed joined the company in 2019 to help compose original music for 'Space Junk: A Soviet Musical' at EdFringe, working closely with Musical Director Maddy. He will also be a part of the live band in the show. Ed has recently completed a degree in music at Goldsmiths, University of London.
London/Winchester based Harry also joined the company in 2019 to help compose original music for 'Space Junk: A Soviet Musical' and will also be performing as the mysterious Vodka Man in the show. Harry is studying a degree in philosophy at University College London.
Brighton/London based Tom joined as Slipshod's resident drummer in 2019 to be a part of the live band for 'Space Junk: A Soviet Musical' and will also be performing some roles as an actor in the show. Tom is currently studying a speciality in drumming at the BIMM Institute in Brighton.
Simon Maxwell - Junior Technician
Portsmouth-based Ayrshire-born Simon joined the team in 2019 to provide technical support for 'Oleg Olenchenko Packs Up His Things' at the Brighton Fringe. He will join Arthur in working on 'Space Junk: A Soviet Musical' as a junior technician in August.
